comments: Autoit is a scripting language, just like vBScript. for those who don't know what scripting is, think of it as a way of either automating tasks or, and that's what I like doing, retrieving nformation about your pc and so on.
Autoit initialy started in 1998 as a software to simulate keystrokes to simplify program installs.
now, many years later it evolved with functionalities such as making guis, or interfacing with comm objects (an example is speaking via your screen reader directly.) unlike vbScript which relies on opening object after object, autoit uses a basic syntags and has an array of built-in functions, and more can be made, with a lot of function packages available online.
It didn't take long for me to get on my feat with autoit and, when I did, I do like using it. Some things I did are I made a program that gives me instant reading of space on a drive, or I also made a stopwatch and a countdown timer.
If anyone wants something easy to work with trhat'd allow them to play around with making new things, I highly recommend it!
