comments: The final release of Klango Player version 2.0--the media player with a whole lot more--was rolled out on Monday of this week. Many improvements have been included, as well as some new features. One of the new features I particularly enjoy is the Wikipedia browser. This is as you might have guessed, an accessible version of Wikipedia with some added features. Another thing I like is the External Applications option within the Programs submenu, which lets registered users download and run software created by other developers. Only two downloadable free games have been included thus far, but I think more stuff is being added. One important thing to note, however, is that in order to run the final version of Klango Player the betas must all be uninstalled. This final release contains a new installer and will therefore conflict with previous installations of the player. The developers are still just as responsive as they were during the beta cycle.
