comments: Dectalk is a little program for speaking written text. With special commands, you can make it sing. When I got the program, I also got jaws scripts to go with it. It is so easy to use, and you don't have to worry about installers. The online manual and instructions for making it sing are also very accessible. Best of all, the developer is very nice and is happy to help you out with any problem sence he is going blind himself.
I recommend this to anyone.

comments: The Dectalk 4.3 demo enables the user to hear synthesized versions of text documents. In addition, special commands can make Dectalk sing. After being played, the demo.txt file can be converted to .wav format.
The only limitation of the Dectalk 4.3 demo is that the file to be spoken or sung must be called demo.txt.
Program accessibility is excellent. The software can be used efficiently without Jaws scripts, although scripts are available for those who want them.

I really enjoy the dectalk software.
I am giving it a 4 because when I try to access the help it says that the file couldn't be found.
