comments: Absolute FTP is one of the very accessible & easy to use ftp clients. After the installation it walks you through a wizard which is very easy to manage. Once everything is set & you answer all the initial prompts, comes the turn of entering in the login info. here lies a very confused feature because the software has no buttons to add the account login info but it’s very simple to overcome because if you press the key shortcut alt+n the wizard for adding a new account pops up which is very easy to manage. once you add the login info you can simply press enter on the desired ftp account & it logs you in. the greatest strength of the software lies in the fact that once inside an ftp, it allows you to upload or download all the files or folders in multiple ways. For example, if you want to download a file or a folder, you can simply select it & go to the file menu & after pressing enter on the download to.... option can browse to the chosen location & press enter on the download option or else best of all copy paste the files in the standard windows manner. The software has a fault in the structure because while uploading or downloading you cannot minimize it to the system tray. Also, if you were to login to multiple ftps at the same time it does not initiate separate windows for each one of them but does so in the one single window which makes it impossible for a blind user to manage the multiple connections at one go. You can copy the logs containing all your connections with all their settings & passwords making it extremely easy to setup the same accounts on multiple computers without having to enter the same info again & again.
