comments: This talking clock and reminder program is easy to use and reasonably priced. Before you pay the $14.95 for it, you can use a fully-functioning demo for seven days. The program's features are very customizable. You can choose to use the program's self-voicing features or use your screen reader's voice instead. I didn't figure out how to totally turn off all the self-voicing features, unfortunately. The alarms from which you can choose are quite varied. Everything from pleasing chimes to red alert buzzers. Reminders are easy to set and access when they pop up on the screen. An atomic clock will keep your computer's clock accurate. If you decide to use Big Ben mode for the clock, be aware that you will hear the clock strike every quarter hour. My whole world came to a stand-still at noon while I waited for Big Ben to strike twelve times. That took quite a while. You might also want to warn your sighted wife that you have installed this nifty little program rather than letting her figure it out for herself.

If you need a talking clock/reminder program and you don't mind paying a bit for it, this program may be just the ticket.
